Join The Watershed Project at the Albany Bulb. Help clean up our shorelines and creeks during the 28th California Coastal Cleanup Day!
Saturday, September 15, 2012
9am - 12 noon
You + up to 500 other volunteers!
Albany Bulb, next to Golden Gate Fields end of Buchanan Street.
All cleanup supplies are provided – bucket, gloves, data card, pencil, etc. However, we encourage everyone to bring their own refillable water bottle, bucket and gloves in an effort to help make this a less wasteful event!
For safety, wear close-toed shoes to avoid stepping on anything sharp.
Waiver forms: Each volunteer must have a signed waiver form to participate. Children must be accompanied by an adult. To save time at the registration table, you can download the waivers here and bring them with you to the event:
At this site last year, 200 volunteers collected nearly 1200 lb of trash. Last year California led the nation with the most volunteers (82,500) and over 1,200,000 pounds of trash! Help us surpass that mark.
